Xeno Perfection

Xenomorphs are by far my favorite fictional biological construct. A perfect killing machine, capable of spreading endlessly and engulfing everything in their path. From a sci fi stand point, the biology of these creatures is extremely well thought out, yet, never explained out right in the movies or many of the novels I've read. Yet it is portrayed in a way that explains it perfectly. Further, there is a strange, horrific beauty to the sleek lines and bony protrusions of the xenomorph structure. It is hard to explain what the draw to the elongated, eyeless head, and skeletal, chitinous exoskeleton is. I suppose it is a too-close mockery of human anatomy that brings the contours to an exaggerated proportion. What ever the case, they will always hold a special, inspirational place in my heart.
